About Us
Western Carolina REACT Serves the Western part of the North
Carolina State, bringing publice service across many types of Radio
Services, including but not limited to Amatuer Radio, FRS, GMRS and
Citizen Band Radio.
Western Carolina REACT Recieived it's charter on June 8, 2010, and is
recognized as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. In Feburary 2011, the
FCC Granted KK4ADE as a club callsign to the group for Amatuer Radio
Use.
Mission Statement
"We will provide public service communications to individuals,
organizations, and government agencies to save lives, prevent injuries,
and give assistance wherever and whenever needed.
We will strive to establish a monitoring network of trained volunteer
citizen-based communicators using any and all available means to
deliver the message."
